It&#8217;s organizes everything by area and works with iCloud so it&#8217;s super easy to share a list with your family. Plus Adam is a good guy.<\/p>\n<p>We use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wunderlist.com\/\">Wunderlist<\/a> for our shopping list, so I set up an IFTTT recipe to put our Echo&#8217;s shopping list into Wunderlist.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how you can too:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wunderlist.com\/account\/mailtowunderlist\">Mail to Wunderlist Settings<\/a> and set your Gmail\u00a0address to go to your shopping list.<\/li>\n<li>Add this recipe (be sure to put me@wunderlist.com as the email address):<a href=\"https:\/\/ifttt.com\/view_embed_recipe\/466896-add-alexa-shopping-list-items-to-wunderlist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"embed_recipe embed_recipe-l_43\" id= \"embed_recipe-466896\"><img src='https:\/\/ifttt.com\/recipe_embed_img\/466896' alt=\"IFTTT Recipe: Add Alexa shopping list items to Wunderlist connects amazon-alexa to gmail\" width=\"370px\" style=\"max-width:100%\"\/><\/a><script async type=\"text\/javascript\" src= \"\/\/ifttt.com\/assets\/embed_recipe.js\"><\/script><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Some caveats: IFTTT checks the shopping list roughly every 15 minutes, so if something is time sensitive you&#8217;re better off using the Wunderlist app. It also doesn&#8217;t update the Alexa shopping list when you check it off in Wunderlist, but who looks at the Alexa shopping list\u00a0anyway?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First off, if you use iOS and don&#8217;t have an Echo, use Kitchen Sync\u00a0for your shopping list.
